He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science, which laid the foundation for his work in developing scalable, intelligent learning systems. Under his leadership, Explico has expanded globally, empowering schools and educators to enhance learning outcomes through technology, data analytics, and smart content solutions that bridge the gap between teaching and learning.
Ms. Catherine Leng
Head of operations
Catherine is a dynamic Chartered Accountant and former Citibank officer with over a decade of experience in financial planning and analysis within the finance and banking industry. She has also spent three years in executive search and team management at a boutique recruitment firm, honing her leadership and people management skills. Currently, Catherine oversees an EdTech startup, where she manages business operations, recruitment, marketing, customer relations, accounting, and administration. With her strong financial acumen and strategic mindset, she plays a pivotal role in driving business growth, operational efficiency, and long-term client partnerships.
Mr Er Kwong Wah
Academic Advisory Board
With a distinguished background as Singapore’s former Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Mr Er Kwong Wah offers extensive experience to Explico’s Academic Advisory Board. His forward-thinking guidance and deep knowledge of the education system are instrumental as Explico leverages AI and machine learning to deliver personalised learning solutions.
Mr Er’s involvement helps ensure the platform is grounded in solid academic principles, providing students with innovative and effective tools to identify their strengths and address weaknesses.
Mr Koh Boon Long, PPA, PBS

As a former Deputy Director in the Ministry of Education, Singapore, Mr Koh Boon Long offers the Academic Advisory Board profound expertise in educational best practices and curriculum development. His experience as Vice-Principal of Raffles Junior College, along with his broader career as a teacher and principal, provides a deep understanding of student needs and academic rigour. Eugene Peh brings 15 years of business development experience and has been an integral part of Explico since its inception. Certified PSCMC, ISO27001, Certified Ethical Hacker practitioner, Fund management & administration research analyst. He specialises in driving strategic growth, partnerships, and market expansion, helping the company establish a strong presence in the education technology sector. Eugene’s expertise spans client acquisition, stakeholder management, and operational strategy, ensuring that Explico delivers impactful learning solutions to schools, educators, and students. His deep understanding of the EdTech landscape, combined with a results-driven approach, has been pivotal in scaling Explico’s operations, expanding its network, and strengthening its position as a leading platform for AI-powered assessments and personalised learning solutions.

Ms Tina Tan is the Academic Head at Explico, overseeing the Singapore pedagogy and guiding the development of high-quality educational content. With 20 years of teaching experience in Singapore, she brings deep expertise in curriculum design, instructional strategies, and student learning outcomes. Tina is actively involved in content creation, collaborating closely with her team to ensure that lessons, assessments, and learning materials are engaging, effective, and aligned with educational standards. Known for her dynamic personality and leadership, she plays a pivotal role in shaping Explico’s academic vision, enhancing teaching practices, and delivering impactful learning experiences for students across the platform.
Ms Lynn Hiew
Sales Representative
Ms. Lynn is an experienced education consultant specializing in guiding local and international families through Singapore’s school admissions and academic pathways. She advises on curriculum choices, academic requirements, and entrance test preparation, including AEIS and S-AEIS, designing tailored lesson plans and learning strategies to ensure student success. Lynn collaborates closely with teachers to align lessons with each student’s goals and readiness for exams. She builds strong relationships with parents through personalised consultations, addressing both academic and administrative concerns. With her expertise in educational planning and program promotion, Lynn has significantly contributed to increasing student enrolment, engagement, and satisfaction.
